The department of applied science is of vital significance in technical institutions. It is essentially the foundation stone on which the structure of various professional courses rest upon. One of the existing enduring features of applied science department is the energy and enthusiasm of faculty and students this department aims at developing the dormant facilities of young scholars teaching in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Drawing imparted with a view to cultivate insight into the realm of English literature and basic structure of other subject .



The objective of teaching these courses to enable the engineering graduates to acquire proficiency and expand the skills to communicate efficiently to handle the future jobs in industry. The department of applied science in AIET aims at making the budding technocrats well equipped end well versed in their prospective professional careers.

The Department has a complement of seven laboratories that cater to the entire gamut of experimental work for the B.Tech Degree course. Several special experimental set-ups are created from time to time which serve to create interest in students. This is in addition to the RTU defined syllabus. Qualified faculty continuously supervises lab work. The students are expected to study beyond mere standard experiments.

STRUCTURE AND DURATION :
Following program is run by the AIET-Alwar and is available for the student of India & Abroad.

• B.Tech (Morning / Evening)    -    4 Years
• B.Tech (Lateral Entry)            -    3 Years

GRADUATION AND DEGREE :
Students who have successfully completed all examinations of their selected course will be awarded the

• Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech)

by the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.


ENTRY REQUIREMENT :

• B.Tech. (Morning / Evening) : The minimum qualification is 10+2 (Class XII) with 45% marks for General candidates (40% for SC/ST/OBC) and with the subject group Physics & Mathematics as Compulsory subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Sc. and Biology as optional subject (anyone of the optional subjects) of any recognized Board or any other equivalent recognized examination.


• B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) : The minimum qualification is Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic) and 10% seats are reserved to take admission in third semester directly.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE :
Interested candidates are required to submit the following :

• Application form that can be obtained from college website or directly from college campus.
• Attested certificate copy of the entire educational certificate.
• Should also produce any original certificate at the time of admission.
• Registration fees non refundable.
• Candidate should also provide AIEEE, RPT, and Gate Score Card.
• SC, ST & OBC cast certificate should also be provided.
• Residential proof (Domicile) should be provided
• Candidate must submit twelve past post size photograph.

The department having well constituted Science Society of faculty members and students of applied science which organize the various Seminar / Conferences and take care of the department’s development activity.
