ENTRY REQUIREMENT :

For B.Tech. Students : As per the AICTE & RTU Rules :
	10+2 (Class XII) Pass with Compulsory Subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Maths)
	Minimum 45% of aggregate marks in Compulsory Subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Maths).

For MBA Students : As per the AICTE & RTU Rules :
	Graduate in any stream with Minimum 50% marks.

ADMISSION CRITERIA :

For B.Tech. Students : As per the prevailing rules the intake percentage of seats is as follows :
	70% through RPETEAP
	15% through AIEEE
	15% Management Quota
	10% Lateral Entry at IInd Year for Diploma Holders

For MBA Students : As per the prevailing rules the intake percentage of seats is as follows :
	85% through RMAT
	15% Management Quota

UNIVERSITY DETAILS :

Rajasthan Technical University was setup in 2006 by Govt. of Rajasthan to enhance technical education in the state. The university has been established in the campus of University College of Engineering, Kota.

The University offers almost all the disciplines related to technical education including Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications, and Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. The university currently affiliates about 135 Engineering Colleges, 35 MCA Colleges, 142 MBA Colleges, 08 M.Tech Colleges and 03 Hotel Management and Catering Institute. More than 1 Lac students study in the various institutes affiliated to the University.

The University aims to provide quality technical education which may help Rajasthan in the field of technical development and will boost technical environment in the country. The Honb'le Governor of Rajasthan is the Chancellor, and Prof. R. P. Yadav is the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
